UP B.Ed JEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria Key Highlights
Prospective candidates who want to join full-time B.Ed programmes in UP B.Ed colleges just satisfy the minimum UP B.Ed JEE 2023 qualifying conditions:
- General and OBC applicants must have a minimum of 50 percent marks in Science / Social Science / Humanitarian studies from a recognised university.
- BE, B.Tech (with Mathematics and Science) students must have a minimum of 55%.
- SC / ST candidates must have a degree from a recognised university.
- Students from other categories must achieve a minimum of 50%.
- Reservation will be granted to candidates from the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes who are originally from Uttar Pradesh. Other States' candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes would be considered as General.
- To take advantage of the relaxations set for these categories, candidates must indicate if they are married or divorced.
- The documents containing their maiden name or caste should always be mentioned by married female applicants. The authorities will take into account the appropriate relaxation.
Detailed Eligibility Criteria for UP B.ED JEE 2023

Nationality
- Only the candidates with citizenship of India can apply to appear for the UP B.ED JEE 2023.
- Not meeting this criterion will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidature.

Age Requirement
- The minimum age for the candidates to appear in UP B.Ed JEE is 21.
Domicile Requirement
- Candidates with the domicile certificate of the State of Uttar Pradesh will get a scope to avail extra benefit in the seat matrix of UP B.ED JEE 2023.
Other Requirements
- Candidates who are not permanent residents of the state of Uttar Pradesh will be classified as General category candidates.
- Candidates from the reserved categories, such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ Female applicants, will be given age relaxations in the upper age limit.
- Applicants who are eligible for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) seats must select Yes on the Personal Information page of the online application form.
- In addition, to demonstrate the legitimacy of the same, the relevant certificate, issued by the Competent Authority, must be supplied on the Upload Document page.

- Candidates are required to have a Graduation degree from any recognized university in the country.

- Candidates who have passed their Bachelor degree (except B.Tech/B.E ) should secure a minimum mark of 50% in order to successfully apply for the UP B.Ed entrance.
- Aspirants who have done graduation or post graduation with Sanskrit should have obtained 50% marks in the graduation exam.
